12 Dates of Christmas

Lacking the financial resources to give my girlfriend a really good gift this Christmas, I decided to invest in the dating futures market – I offered her the promise of a dozen really good future gifts in lieu of one on Christmas day. This map was a promissory note of sorts. Notice that most of the dates are summer activities (lobster dinner, camping, canoeing, birdwatching), so I bought myself a few months to get my act together. But as the weather warms, the note is coming due.
