CitID New Haven Logo

I submitted this logo to the CitID project, which asks graphic artists, typographers, and artists to submit their own artwork and typefaces that capture the essence of their city. I created this for New Haven, Connecticut, but it has yet to be accepted and published on the site. Hundreds of designs have been submitted representing cities all over the world – I think the small cities of the Northeast need more representation, so if you have a good idea for a logo for your hometown, send it in. I haven't had a chance to look at all of them, but my favorite ones so far have been Milwaukee, Wisconsin, Osaka and Takasaki, Japan.
